Capturing
Magic
We knew that in order to create fresh and exciting sounds with Augmented MALLETS Play, we first had to capture beautiful and authentic samples.
Our mallet instruments were recorded in a state-of-the-art recording facility in the Netherlands, featuring a 150 square meter recording hall with 10m high ceilings. Using high-quality microphones like Neumann M150 tube mics and Schoeps MK-series, we captured both close and room sounds, ensuring every sample resonates with lifelike space, detail, and energy.
