iSpark is an endless supply of creative inspiration for beat-makers. The forty factory kits open the way to a large variety of music styles and soundscapes.
Create your kits by selecting from 40 presets and 640 individual instruments in the iPad-optimized browser. Each presets comes with no less than 32 pre-written patterns that can be totally edited and chained.

Whether you are looking for a convenient, immediately operational drum-machine or for an experimental sonic laboratory, iSpark is the mobile instrument for you!
The studio is where you will customize your kits and all the instruments that compose it. For each instrument the studio allows you to adjust a comprehensive list of parameters. You can even use your own WAV or AIFF sample as the starting point of your sound.

Main View
iSpark’s main screen is all about performance, immediacy and effectiveness. It allows you to conceive your patterns on the fly thanks to its powerful step sequencer or by recording in real-time your play on the highly responsive virtual pads.
Furthermore, it integrates a wide stream of cleverly selected and arranged controls. Shaping your sound, animating your performance, jumping between your patterns in a flash. It all can be done from the Main view!
Mixer View
The iSpark Mixer offers you the same workflow as a real mixing desk associated with a prolific range of professional-grade effects. You can almost close your eyes and let your hands find their own way.
Here you can adjust the volume and panorama of your instruments. But it does not stop here the mixer also allows you to set 2 insert effects per instrument plus 2 return effects plus 2 master effects along with the sending levels at each step.

With iSpark, making massive rhythms does not require heavy drum machines anymore.
Its Song mode gives you the possibility to chain your patterns in order to create a whole performance. Organizing your song is as easy as a drag-and-drop. Switch to “Perform” and discover two large XY modulation touchpads that will bring your performances to life. You were looking for a powerful and flexible beat-making solution for your gig, you got it!

iSpark offers a broad range of possibilities to bring your performances to live with subtle or radical modulations.
The polyvalent XY modulation touchpads allow you to modify the filter cutoff and resonance and to activate the roller/looper dynamically.
iSpark also integrates an outstanding automation tool that can be used to bring movement to several dozens of parameters simultaneously.

TAE® Analog Synthesis
iSpark sound engine embeds our TAE® technology, which stands for True Analog Emulation. TAE® is an unprecedented way of modeling and creating the specific sounds from classic analog synthesizers such as the Yamaha CS-80, Roland Jupiter 8 or Oberheim® SEM.
Physical Modeling
Physical modeling is a technique of synthesizing the properties of natural objects when they are struck or plucked. At its most basic level it allows you to create very dynamic and accurate acoustic sounds. But physical modeling can be pushed to create wild, new sounds the world has never heard. This gives iSpark a whole new method of sound creation that no other drum machine can offer.
Sampling
Samples can be used as sources as part of iSpark. Used this way, the various modules provide vast possibilities for reworking and modifying the original sampled sound. This way you get the best of both worlds, the simplicity of working with samples combined with the rich sonic possibilities of analog.
