ARTURIA RELEASE MELLOTRON V
Grenoble, France, May 2nd 2019
Music software and hardware specialists Arturia have announced the arrival of Mellotron V, one of history’s most revolutionary instruments reborn as software with some exciting new additions.
The original instrument was a marvel of engineering: a playable network of magnetic tapes that let you perform using otherworldly recordings of choirs, acoustic, and classical instruments. Notoriously difficult to maintain and almost impossible to transport, the Mellotron was used by The Beatles, King Crimson, The Moody Blues - some of the biggest, most influential acts of all time. They could afford the roadies, after all.

Mellotron V isn’t just a copycat, it’s a love-letter to the original with some exclusive features that make it a must-have for the modern producer. All of the original tapes have been included, sampled at source, and replayed using authentic tape emulation. Not only that, but musicians can now fine-tune the sound of the instrument like never before with mechanical, noise, and tape controls, an ADSR envelope, and awesome effects.

One of the most exciting new features is the ability for users to load their own samples, and perform them using the saturated tape sound of the original machine, complete with wow and flutter you can dial in to taste.
LEGENDARY TAPE KEYBOARD
All original tapes
All original tapes are included, pristinely sampled from the original tapes and digitized, ready for a new generation of musicians to enjoy.
Performance controls
Blend between different sounds, combine 3 tapes for thick combis, and adjust volume and tone to achieve that authentic Mellotron sound.
Load your own samples
Create mind-blowing sounds using your own audio samples, processed with Mellotron’s magical saturated tape sound and quirks.
Authentic effects
A beautifully modelled guitar amp and loads of studio quality effects have been included in the software itself, helping you get the exact sound you want.
Mechanical controls
Whether you want your Mellotron to sound like it’s fresh of the production line, or unearthed from 50 years in a warehouse, the new mechanical controls let you fine tune its performance.
Great presets
A great selection of presets that both show off the original sounds, as well as putting the sounds of the Mellotron’s most famous hits are all included for your enjoyment.
Mellotron V is one of 3 amazing new instruments included in V Collection 7 , the latest incarnation of Arturia’s flagship software anthology. In it, you’ll find 24 instruments that changed the face of music as we know it, lovingly analyzed, modelled, and recreated as software. Synths, pianos, organs, and quirky keyboards like the Mellotron have all been given a new lease of life, and are yours to command.

Breathing life back into the most iconic keyboard instruments of all time, V Collection is the ultimate creativity launchpad, and an essential studio tool for the modern music producer.

SYNTHI V

ARTURIA RELEASE SYNTHI V: ANALOG MODULAR SOFTWARE SYNTH EMULATION
Grenoble, France, May 2nd 2019
French music masters Arturia have reworked the classic British EMS modular synth into a software instrument; staying true to the original sound and ethos of the original “silver machine”, while adding some groundbreaking new features.
Bringing their modelling expertise to the Synthi AKS and VCS3, and combining them into one full-featured software instrument, a new generation of musicians can now enjoy those legendary sounds. Loved by Brian Eno, Pink Floyd, and Hawkwind, the original hardware synth was really unstable, with a lot of work you could make it sound in tune, but that wasn’t really what it was famous for: sound effects, drones, and psychedelic textures were what put this synth on the map.

Synthi V puts all of the imperfect patch-pin analog synthesis at your fingertips, and with a simple flick of a switch, you can quantize oscillators and remove analog cross-talk, making it the best of both analog and digital. Revamped with powerful new features and loaded with awesome presets, experimental sound designers and modern producers alike will fall in love with the “battleships” style programming and avant-garde sound possibilities.
BRITISH SILVER MACHINE
Smart pins
Patch together a huge variety of parameters. Assign pins with varying strengths, and group them together to make powerful modulations easy.
Reborn sequencer
The original “Run Like Hell” real-time sequencer has been reborn in software too, and enhanced with new features and DAW integration.
Put the joy in “Joystick”
Organically control your sound, and program simple or complex movement paths to use as modulations on any parameter.
Function generators
Create your own functions with up to 16 points, free or quantized, and assignable to anything you want. One shot, or looping, for ultimate control.
Awesome effects
The original instrument included some great vintage effects modules, and Arturia have pushed the boat out with even more studio quality effects.
Great presets
Packed with great presets that show off both the sounds that made the original famous, and a look at how Synthi V could shape tomorrow’s sound.
Synthi V is one of 3 amazing new instruments found inside V Collection 7, alongside Mellotron V and CZ V. Recently updated to version 7, V Collection contains 24 legendary instruments reimagined as software. Each instrument not only perfectly recreates the sound of the original, but also reimagines its potential thanks to Arturia’s exclusive modelling technologies, and the advancing power of home computing.

Breathing life back into the most iconic keyboard instruments of all time, V Collection is the ultimate creativity launchpad, and an essential studio tool for the modern music producer.

PRESS RELEASE
MAY 2nd 2019
French music software and hardware specialists Arturia announced the launch of V Collection 7 at the end of April 2019. On top of powerful updates and hundreds of exclusive new preset sounds, we launched CZ V, one of our 3 new iconic instruments.

ARTURIA LAUNCH SOFTWARE REMAKE OF CASIO CULT CLASSIC
Grenoble, France, May 2nd 2019
Multi-award winning music software & hardware developer Arturia have released CZ V, a recreation of the 80s phase distortion instrument that brought affordable synthesis to a whole new generation.
The original instrument was a mini revolution. Created to directly rival the ultra-popular Yamaha DX-7, Casio’s low-cost CZ range gave upcoming musicians the chance to use cutting edge digital sounds for the first time. While limited by the technology at the time, and confined by its hardware, the CZ-101 and CZ-1000 sound was loved by even big-name acts like Salt-N-Pepa, Madonna, Vince Clarke, and Van Halen.

Reborn for the modern musician, Arturia’s software reimagining perfectly captures the sound of the Casio, by carefully mapping, analyzing, and modelling its sound using their exclusive TAE ® technology, they have recreated every aspect of the synth engine. Not only that, they have updated its abilities to include exciting new features that would have been impossible to achieve on the original.
PHASE DISTORTION CULT CLASSIC
Easier to program
CZ V ditches the fiddly programming of the original synth in favor of clear, intuitive controls and easy to follow visual feedback.
Custom PD editor
Go beyond the 8 original modulation waveforms. CZ V lets you merge and morph your own waveforms with a phase distortion editor.
Advanced envelope control
Choose from the original envelopes, DADSRs or multi-segment MSEG functions, which can be sync’d and assigned as you like.
Advanced modulation matrix
Choose up to 16 custom modulation routings. Connect any component output or MIDI CC controller to target any synth parameter you can think of.
New modulation sources
2 new LFOs and a sample/hold section can modulate just about anything on CZ V. Sync to your host tempo, trigger at triplets and dotted values, and free cycling.
Intuitive controls
4 easy-assign, quick access macro controls, integrated arpeggiator, and dedicated controls for all functions make CZ V a dream to use and perform.
CZ V is one of 3 new stunning vintage instrument recreations that are included in V Collection 7 - Arturia's groundbreaking retro synth and keyboard package. Containing 24 instruments, each modelled after a keyboard that changed the face of music as we know it. Within V Collection, you'll find meticulously modeled analog synths, digital powerhouses, incredible performance keyboards, acoustic and electric pianos, organs, a string machine, and even a sampler and tape-replay keyboard.

Breathing life back into the most iconic keyboard instruments of all time, V Collection is the ultimate creativity launchpad, and an essential studio tool for the modern music producer.
LAUNCH OFFER
To celebrate its release, and only for a limited time, CZ V will be available for an incredible price.

Intro offer from $99/99€, ends June 10th.
Street price $199/199€
