Make sure your version of Analog Lab is up-to-date, then simply plug KeyLab Essential into your computer and launch Analog Lab.
- If you’re using the Play version of Analog Lab, it will allow you to activate the Pro license that comes with your KeyLab Essential.
- If you already use the Pro version you are good to go right away.

To update your Firmware:
- Make sure KeyLab Essential is connected to your computer.
- Download & install the MIDI Control Center.
- Open MIDI Control Center and it will guide you, if your KeyLab Essential needs an update.

I'm having trouble downloading files → I can't locate Analog Lab →Make sure to try another Web Browser such as Firefox, Google Chrome, Edge and to follow the steps once again from the Start page.
Once the installer named Analog Lab V has been downloaded, double-click to begin the installation process and follow the on-screen instructions.

Once you have installed Analog Lab, you should be able to easily find it:
- On MacOS, open Spotlight with "CMD" + "Space Bar" then type in: Analog Lab V
- On Windows, press the "Windows" key and then type in: Analog Lab V

What's going on?

I'm having trouble downloading files → I can't open the MIDI Control Center → I can't locate the installation folder →Make sure to try another Web Browser such as Firefox, Google Chrome, Edge and to follow the steps once again on the Start page.
If needed, please try to download it from the Resources page.
Once the installer has been downloaded, double-click to begin the installation process and follow the on-screen instructions.

Make sure to try to uninstall the MIDI Control Center, to download it again and to reinstall it in case anything went wrong during the install process.
If it still doesn't work, please make sure that you've given the appropriate rights and permissions to the software for it to open and run properly:
- On MacOS, ensuring that the application is allowed in "System Preferences -> Security & Privacy" may help.
- On Windows, make sure to try to open it with a right-click and by choosing "Run as an administrator".
